All schools will be using the Accelerated Reader Software. Accelerated Reader is designed to motivate reading practices, diagnose student reading, and alert them when intervention is needed. Students read books for enjoyment and then take a computerized quiz. Results are given immediately after taking the quiz. Points are accumulated by each student depending on the reading level of the book. Some classrooms will be giving incentives for collecting certain amounts of points.
