Charles Kaiser
Mr. Charles Kaiser

Charles Kaiser is the English as a Second Language (ESL) specialist for Country Club Hills School District 160, working with students and teachers in all three schools. He is a graduate from DePaul University in Chicago with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. He received his first Master of Arts degree in 1986 from Concordia University in School Administration and Supervision of Instruction. He has over twenty-five years of experience in the field of education. He has taught Pre K- 8thgrade elementary aged children as well as newly immigrated adults to the United States. He is an experienced elementary school principal and K-5 Curriculum Director having worked in several urban suburban Chicago school systems. He is both a national and state consultant and speaker in the field of ESL, and was a contributing author of a reading basal series for Scott Foresman. He has taught graduate classes to teachers pursuing their certification in ESL at the Illinois Resource Center in Arlington Heights, IL, and at National Louis University. His post-graduate studies from the University of Illinois- Chicago are in the field of ESL literacy, and he has just completed his second Master’s Degree as a K-12 Reading Specialist from Concordia University. Mr. Kaiser believes that all children can reach their fullest potential with the support of teachers, the right learning tools and by providing multiple ways of engaging students in learning.
