Teaching, Learning and Assessment Department

The Teaching, Learning and Assessment Department provides a variety of support to teachers, administrators, and paraprofessionals to enhance their expertise in providing high quality education for the students of Country Club Hills School District 160. The department is committed to seeking deep interconnections among theory, research, and practice. The  department promotes student success by providing cutting edge services that include professional learning opportunities for staff; the implementation of rigorous English language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies curricula; integrating technology, foreign language; physical education development; athletic programs; and activities in music and technology. The department is also responsible for providing support for English Language Learners; conducting summer school and after school extended day programs, and administering state and local assessments. The department strives to support teachers in their pursuit of lifelong learning and provide educational opportunities that ensure academic achievement for all students.
