Students in grades 4, 5 and 6 will receive an introduction to the Spanish language and culture. Vocabulary development, pronunciation and cultural awareness are emphasized during instruction. The objective of this course is to teach students to communicate in Spanish and understand cultural differences, perspectives and traditions. Research suggests students who are exposed to foreign language tend to score higher on standardized tests and it also prepares students to be successful in our global society.
